MAGSCIE BRAND: HPM-L
High-purity mullite brick (HPM-L) is a kind of high alumina refractory brick with mullite (3Al2O3 · 2SiO2) as the main crystal phase. The general alumina content ranges from 65% to 75%.
Mullite is a mineral formed by aluminosilicate at high temperatures and is a kind of high-quality refractory material. High-purity mullite brick has high fire resistance, reaching over 1790 ℃. The refractoriness under load is 1600~1700 ℃.
1. Uniform expansion and excellent thermal shock stability;
2. High load softening point, with low high-temperature creep value;
3. Low thermal conductivity, with excellent thermal insulation effect;
4. High compressive strength under hot conditions;
5. Excellent slag erosion resistance and chemical corrosion resistance;
6. Low impurity content. Only very low content of oxides such as iron and alkali metals, resulting in high fire resistance. At the same time, the high aluminum content maintains good performance in a reducing atmosphere;
7. It can be processed into special shapes to reduce the number of bricks and joints.
