Hollow Sphere Alumina Brick

Hollow Sphere Alumina Brick (HSA) is made of alumina bubble which is a new type of high-temperature insulation materials. It is the industrial alumina smelting in the electric furnace and blowing. The crystal form is microcrystal of a-Al2O3. The main body can be made into various shapes. it’s mechanical strength are several times for the general light weight products. While the bulk density is only one-half of corundum products.

Properties:

1. High usage temperature: The operating temperature of HSA can reach over 1750℃. It has good thermal stability, low rate of change in the reheating line and a longer service life.

2. Reduce the weight of the furnace body: Nowadays, high-temperature resistant materials belong to dense bricks, with a bulk density of 2.6-3.0g/cm3. The density of HSA is only 1.1-1.5g/cm3. Using HSA with the same cubic meter volume can reduce weight by 1.1~1.9 tons.

3. Material saving: To achieve the same usage temperature, if dense bricks are used, their price is equivalent to that of alumina hollow ball bricks, and considerable insulation layer refractory materials are also required. If HSA are used, 80% of the refractory insulation material can be saved.

4. Energy saving: HSA have obvious insulation properties. It has a low thermal conductivity and can provide excellent insulation effect. Therefore,it can reduce heat dissipation and improve thermal efficiency. The energy-saving effect can reach over 30%.
