MAGSCIE BRAND: DRN
Low creep fireclay brick is mainly made of super grade pyrogem, andalusite and mullite. Supplemented with special additives during production, it is formed under high pressure and fired at high temperature. It contains 40%-48% alumina, and its refractoriness is 1580~1770℃.
The main performance of low creep fireclay bricks is their small creep under long-term high temperature operation. Low creep clay bricks also have advantages such as high thermal storage capacity, good thermal shock resistance, and corrosion resistance to acidic slag.
The requirement for using refractory bricks in hot blast ovens is strict. For example, the upper and middle parts of the regenerative chamber of a hot air stove bear the load of the upper grid bricks. If ordinary high aluminum bricks are used, periodic temperature fluctuations can cause the grid bricks to crack and break, and in severe cases, the grid bricks may collapse. The use of low creep fireclay brick can avoid such problems and reduce project material selection costs.
Low creep fireclay bricks are usually made into honeycomb, plum blossom, and wave shapes to increase the heat exchange area. The hole pattern of the bricks is designed and manufactured according to the furnace shape, and customization is supported.
